Here, we nurture the nature of play. We strongly believe children learn through play. Play is crucial in children’s development. It helps to build self-worth by giving a child a sense of his or her own abilities and to feel good about themselves. 

The Playlab Shop started with two mothers who believe the benefits of play in children’s learning and development in their early childhood years. In order for children to have a meaningful play, we did our research and came across open-ended toys. An open-ended toys is one with no definitive ending point- providing children’s endless fun and limitless imagination. Thus, it is our mission to source, promote and sell high quality, sustainable, educational open-ended toys 

On our journey of building up The Playlab Shop, we also found out that there is very limited choice of educational toys for special needs children in Malaysia. Children with physical and intellectual limitation should have the chance to play, smile and laugh just as any other child. Therefore, it is our vision not only to bring joy but also to enhance the children’ learning and development according to their capabilities
